We ship all orders within 24 hours of receipt. Generally, if we receive your order before 12 noon on any day then it will ship out that same day. Orders placed after midday on Friday, and on the weekend, will ship on the following Monday.

For simplicity we provide only one shipping option, which is insured and trackable, door-to-door, road courier. Delivery might be the next day (if you get lucky), but is most generally 2-5 days depending on your location. We insure all our packages, so if one should be damaged or lost in transit we will immediately replace it at no cost to you.

If you require overnight air delivery then please let us know this in the comments field of your order (and ideally follow up with a phone call if it is an urgent order) and we will contact you with the additional charges for next day service. To ensure next day delivery in these cases please, please place your order before 12 noon.

South African Orders

Please provide a physical street address as the delivery address on your order as our couriers do not deliver to PO Boxes. Please also ensure that you provide the correct day-time phone number so that our courier company can contact you if they get lost or if you are not home and they need to reschedule a delivery time.

International Orders

If you place an order via the site we will contact you by email with the additional charges for international delivery, and once you approve these we will re-charge your card for the balance. Alternately you can contact us by email before you order and we will provide you with a shipping quote and then we will place your order manually. Since your order will be crossing international borders you may be required to pay international customs and clearing fees and/or other taxes. Life Elements is not responsible for these fees, even if you do not accept the package, so if you are concerned, please check with your country's customs policies prior to ordering. Life Elements is also not responsible for orders confiscated by foreign customs as we cannot insure for this. So please make sure you understand your country's policies and the process of importation and clearing before ordering.

Environmentally Sound Packaging

In keeping with our philosophy of ecological stewardship, we may reuse boxes and packing materials that come into our warehouse and that are still in good condition. We also use new recycled packaging materials where we can. Most of our protective packaging materials are compostable, being shredded wood fibre and corrugated cardboard and we only use plastic bubble-wrap in rare cases of necessity for a special product that would not travel safely without it. We may also use shredded waste paper collected from our office and 100% natural, corn-based, biodegradable "packing peanuts" on occasion, to to help protect your order during shipping. We ask you to please reuse and cycle what you can, and compost the rest of it in your own garden.
